How does a personal development plan relieve stress?  By creating your life plan and having all of your goals and plans written out, a very interesting thing happens, which is that you achieve balance, have more free time and find satisfaction and fulfillment.  Rather than “racing against the clock” to get “all the things that you don’t really want to do” done in your life, you have greater self respect because you’ve honored your time, as well as feel good because you’ve been realistically setting daily, weekly and monthly goals for yourself and actually meeting those goals.  This has a profound effect on your self esteem and motivation.  Once you start accomplishing things that are important to you, your life becomes easier and, yes, less stressful!

When you develop a personal development plan, you learn how to honor your time because you determine the things that are important to you in your life.  When you honor your time, you learn to honor yourself.  Because of this, you are naturally able to have better time management and are able to relieve stress because you are on a path that bolsters your self esteem and honors your heart’s true desires.
